Description

Let the strong, spicy flavours of this bar sweet you away to the Colombian jungles, where salsa rhythms sound and crunchy cocoa nibs are waiting for you. The chocolate is made by grinding delicious Colombian cocoa beans for 48 hours, then adding crunchy bits of cocoa nibs to the mixture.

Tumaco is not only the name of this bar, it is also the name of the city that has undergone a lot of change over the last few years. Many former cocaine fields have been transformed into cocoa plantations and cocoa farmers have joined together to form cooperatives. The high quality of the cocoa, the community the farmers have formed and the better cocoa prices the farmers are able to negotiate has greatly improved the quality of life for the local people.
