Description
The Tasmanian Mountain Pepper grows exclusively in the damp, cool valleys and gorges of the Tasmania rainforest and in New South Wales in southwestern Australia. The pepper only yields a small harvest, making it a rare treat! The mountain pepper is particularly valued in upscale gastronomy due to its interesting combination of flavours. The pepper is surprisingly fruity at first but has an intensely spicy finish. Use sparingly as it is a little hotter than conventional black pepper.
The pepper is sensational for barbecue dishes! You can use it to make marinades and curry dishes as well as for any kind of vegetable dish. Cooks keen to experiment can also use the pepper on exotic fruits like pineapples, peaches, nectarines and desserts.

Tasmanian Mountain Peppers
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Arrived well packaged and protected. Not cheap, but they come from Tasmania and add a flavour that lifts any red meat to perfection.
Giving away 2 jars as gifts to my foody loving kids
