Galup Colomba Cake with Berries & White Chocolate

Classic Colomba Easter cake is made with lemon peel and orange peel mixed into a light sourdough cake batter. In this recipe, strawberries, red and black currants, blackberries and blueberries are used instead, giving the cake a fruity flavour. The cake also features delicate pieces of white chocolate. The traditional hazelnut glaze features sugar and whole almonds for a crunchy bite.
