Description

The sourdough for Galup's panettone is made according to a tried and true recipe and the best ingredients. The panettone is made with a mother yeast dough that has been fed with flour and water daily since 1922. Finely ground wheat flour, sugar, real butter, fresh eggs and fresh whole milk are added to the dough to make the cake.

The fluffy, light cake comes in many variations. In this version, candied cherries and oranges give the cake a fruity flavour. Piedmont hazelnuts PGI and Sicilian Avola almonds provide a nutty taste.

The panettone is traditionally served during Advent but it tastes delicious all year round.

Information on storage: Store in a cool, dark and dry place at a maximum of 18 ° to 20 ° C.
