Govinda Linseed Oil

Linseed oil is characterized by its high content of essential alpha-linolenic acid (54%). By manufacturing it using a corrugated Secure-R method (in the absence of heat, oxygen and light) an oil of exceptional quality is obtained without the bitter taste. Linseed oil should not be used heated, in order to preserve the valuable alpha-linolenic acid. Linseed oil must be stored in a cool and dark place. Supplies though to be kept for extended periods of time should be kept refrigerated.
Linseed oil has a natural shelf life of 3 months. We recommend storing your linseed in the freezer to extend its shelf life. This will not interfere with the quality of the oil nor will the bottle become damaged.
