Kampot red pepper grown in Cambodia is one of the finest and rarest pepper varieties in the world. It is grown and harvested by hand in Kampot, between the primeval forests of the "Elephant Mountains" and the picturesque seashore. It has a fascinating, intense heat and fruity apricot notes. You can get to know its hot, fruity character by sprinkling on juicy fruits such as mango and pineapple, creamy desserts, crunchy salads and fine dishes made from fresh vegetables.

Dishes with game, poultry and fish benefit from its mature flavour profile. But vegetables and desserts also taste delicious with a little sprinkling.

Special feature: this pepper is harvested when it is fully ripe. This gives it this distinctive spiciness with its unmistakable aroma. The can contains whole grains - ideal for spice mills and for grinding with a mortar and pestle.
