Description
Bacon jam and pumpkin seeds are two specialities that are an absolute must for Styrian meals. For this hearty spread, Labonca's artisans have combined the two to create a unique taste experience.
For the preparation of this spread, pieces of pork belly and bacon are seasoned like raw pickles before being dried for three weeks. Then they are cold smoked and matured for four weeks. Finally, the meat is chopped and mixed with garlic, pumpkin seeds and pepper, then filled into jars and covered with lard.
