Description

Candied violets are rumoured to be the Empress Sissi of Austria's favourite sweet. They are wonderful with tea or for decorating cakes or other sweets.

The candied violets are specially produced in Toulouse, France by a producer that has been making them since 1818. This producer is one of the last of its kind, specialising in candied flowers and herbs.

Candied violets have been used for hundreds of years to decorate sweets and flavour marmalades and desserts.
