NOOM Kreativbrauerei Barrel Aged Saison

What a beer! The dry-hopped Aged Saison beer is brewed with Tardif de Bourgogne, a French variety of hops. It is further refined with organic Pilsner malt and 33% organic spelt.

The maturation and secondary fermentation of 6 months takes place in barrique barrels with a historic Brettanomyces yeast strain and makes this beer unique. The yeast strain was obtained from a Berliner Weisse bottle from 1984 and rounds off the grainy, dry beer with a fruity-berry finish. Post-fermented in the bottle.
