Reicher White Asparagus

This asparagus is carefully, lovingly grown and harvested in Southeast Styria. It makes a lovely side dish with fish or meat dishes and can also be used for lots of tasty vegetarian meals. The high quality speaks for itself!

Peeling instructions:

• Start 2-3 cm under the head of the asparagus. The top of the stalk can be peeled thinner while the base will need to be trimmed a bit thicker. Wrap the peeled asparagus in a towel. Don't be too stingy when peeling, the peel has a bitter taste.

Steaming instructions:

• You can either stand up the asparagus or bundle it and then gently steam it. Depending on how thick the stalks are they will need 10-20 minutes to steam. Just don't overcook them!
