The whiskey pepper has a special spicy and earthy aroma and wears the fine flavors of organic single malt Scotch. What exactly is an organic whiskey pepper?
After much deliberation, an experiment was started: The Bio Black Ancient Forest Pepper was combined with organic whiskey. The black pepper absorbed the whiskey effectively, releasing its flavor during grinding. The intense earthy flavor of fine organic Scotch whiskey can be detected as soon as you open the pepper. The pepper is of course only available in whole peppercorns, otherwise it loses its flavor quickly. During grinding, the flavor unfolds as a peppery, whiskey treat! This combination can be used creatively in many dishes!

What to do with the organic whiskey pepper?
Cooking with alcohol is nothing new. For centuries we have used wine and other alcohols for cooking, baking and frying. Whether to cook fish with wine, put in a steak in beer or flambé a dish - the alcohol evaporates through heat while cooking, leaving only its flavor and its aroma. With organic whiskey pepper it works the same way. If you cook it, the pepper loses its alcohol content but not the flavor. The quantity of alcohol that is absorbed by the peppercorn is so low that an extreme amount of pepper would have to be eaten to achieve an alcoholic effect.
