The Ankerkraut Rub "Pull that Piggy" is a slightly spicy dry rub made for the well-known US BBQ specialty called "Pulled Pork". Pulled pork is characterized by slow, low temperature cooking. You take a piece of 2-5 kg pork shoulder or neck, drizzled it with oil or rub it with mustard or another moist dressing (helping the Rub stick better). Then you rub it generously with our Pulled Pork Rub and marinate it for 12-24 hours in an airtight wrap (best wrapped in cellophane). Then the meat is ready to grill or slow cook- there are hundreds of ways to prepare it!
