Note:
- Linseeds have a high swelling capacity and should therefore be taken with plenty of liquid.
- Golden linseeds contain substances that release hydrogen cyanide when crushed. Heating crushed linseed by cooking or baking reduces the hydrogen cyanide content. Adults can safely consume a maximum of 15g or around 2 tablespoons of linseeds per day.
