Alnatura Organic Jam Sugar 2:1, 500 g

Alnatura Organic Jam Sugar is ideal for homemade fruit spreads, jams, jellies and similar recipes, and gives them the right consistency. It is based on raw cane sugar and pectin. One pack is sufficient for 1 kg of fruit or 750 ml of juice and includes detailed instructions for use on the packaging.

Preparation recommendation:

1. Finely chop or purée the fruit.
2. Mix the prepared fruit with the jam sugar and lemon juice, then bring to the boil while stirring continuously. Allow to boil vigorously for at least 3 minutes.
3. Setting test: Shortly before the end of the cooking time, place a small amount of the mixture onto a plate and leave to cool briefly. If it sets, the jam is ready to be filled into jars. If not, continue boiling for a further 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Pour the hot jam into clean jars, filling them to the brim, and seal tightly. Turn upside down onto the lid and leave to cool.
