"Bauernfrühstück" or "Farmer's Breakfast" is a popular warm dish served in German-speaking regions made with leftovers such as boiled potatoes, onions, cheese and fresh eggs. This is similar to bubble and squeak in England. Hearty, filling and on the table in minutes, it is also eaten for lunch and dinner, despite the name. But it can taste a little dull.

Not with Ankerkraut! Their Farmer's Breakfast spice mix gives the simple leftover dish just the boost of flavours it needs.
You don't need a lot to cook up a delicious meal: potatoes, eggs, optionally a little bacon (or tofu for vegetarians) and a dash of Farmer's Breakfast spice mix. Aromatics such as onion, cumin, smoked salt are included in this mix. Add one or two spoons to 500 grams of potatoes.

This spice mix is also perfect for sprinkling on other dishes with potatoes or vegetables.
