Aptamil Pronutra Pre Infant Formula

PRE Pronutra infant formula can be offered from birth onwards as the sole nutrition or as a supplement to breastfeeding. However, it is generally recommended by experts around the world that breastmilk is best for infants for the first 6 months of life. That is why it is important to consult a doctor or lactation specialist before switching to formula or adding formula to a baby's diet.

The ready-to-drink Pronutra Pre formula by Aptamil is particularly practical when you are out and about. No need to measure out, mix and shake - simply pour the required amount into your baby's clean bottle and either feed it directly at room temperature or warm it up. As with every other infant formula by Aptamil, the recipe of the ready-to-drink version is precisely tailored to the nutritional needs of infants and babies.

Recommended amount: Please note that the chart shows the manufacturer's recommendation. The number of meals per day and the amount consumed at each meal may vary from meal to meal and from day to day. PRE formula can be fed on demand just like breast milk.

** From the 5th month onwards you can, after consulting a doctor, start offering solids to your baby's diet and gradually replace bottle feeds with baby cereal and solid foods.

Preparation:

1. Make sure the cap and seal are intact and undamaged before opening the bottle for the first time. Shake the bottle vigorously before removing the seal.
2. Fill a sterilised bottle with the amount required according to the chart.
3. If necessary, warm the tightly closed bottle in a water bath to bring it up to a comfortable drinking temperature (approx. 37°C / lukewarm). Please do not heat in a microwave, there is a risk of overheating!
   You can also feed the ready-to-drink PRE formula at room temperature, without heating. If taken out of the refrigerator, please let it come to room temperature before feeding your baby.
4. Always check the temperature before feeding your baby.
5. Please do not keep heated leftovers for later use as harmful germs could develop. Any warmed up leftovers should be disposed of immediately. The leftover contents in the original container that have not been warmed up can be refrigerated for later use. Use within 24 hours.
