It all began when Josef Berghofer started selling traditionally pressed pumpkin seed oil directly from his farm. Josef Berghofer and his family have been developing and producing classic as well as new foods made from Styrian pumpkin seeds for 30 years.
Since 2019, Berghofer has been running a "Farmery" - a combination of a farm and factory - producing wonderful pumpkin seed snacks in many varieties. The green seeds are roasted to give them their distinctive, delicious taste and aroma.
