Davert Organic Original Arborio White Rice

Arborio rice is characterized by two properties: its grain stays firm to the bite when cooked and becomes creamy at the same time. The slightly sweet taste is much appreciated. This variety unfolds its full aroma when cooked in milk or vegan milk substitutes such as oat milk - ideal for tempting rice puddings. For a savoury risotto, chefs recommend using broth to cook the rice.

Risotto side dish for 2 people:

• Sauté a medium-sized onion in olive oil until translucent
• Add about 150 g Arborio rice and sauté briefly
• Gradually pour in a total of 600 ml of boiling vegetable broth
• Simmer for 35 to 40 minutes. Keep stirring!

Store in a cool and dry place.
