Description
This flour is made from 100% partially de-oiled pumpkin seeds and has an intensely nutty aroma. It adds a hearty, exciting touch to a variety of dishes! Use in pastries, pasta, breadcrumbs, protein shakes or as a thickener. It contains potassium and magnesium and is rich in protein and fibre - a great addition to a healthy, nutritious diet. The pumpkin seeds are organically grown in Europe and are carefully ground.
Note: Pumpkin seed flour can replace grain flour by up to 25% - please keep this in mind when using it as a substitute in your usual recipes. A general rule of thumb is: 100 g regular cereal flour can be replaced by 65 g pumpkin seed flour. Increase the amount of liquid in the recipe to achieve the desired consistency of the dough or batter.
