Teff is the seed of the teff plant also known as dwarf millet and belongs to the sweet grass family. It is one of the earliest plants domesticated by man and has been cultivated in Ethiopia for many centuries. Naturally gluten-free, it is one of the most protein-rich seeds in the world and is gaining in popularity.

Teff flour can be used for baking - please mix with other flour(s) containing gluten for best results. Use a maximum of 30% teff flour in your recipes. It can also be used for thickening sauces and in breakfast porridge. Try out this wonderfully aromatic ancient food today!
