Description
Barley malt is made by briefly germinating barley in a gentle process known as malting and then drying it. This creates the malt with a mild sweetness and aromatic, typical flavour.
The organic barley malt by Arche is very versatile and can be used as a sugar substitute for gently sweetening dishes, but also for refining vegetable dishes, soups and sauces. Tip: Try using it as a spread!
Note: The barley malt by Arche is not an active baking malt.
