Description

The black currant is valued for its sour, slightly bitter taste and aroma. The high fruit content and careful processing of ripe back currants ensure that the taste, aroma and colour are retained in the syrup. Add cold water to make a refreshing thirst quencher. It is also a wonderful addition to cocktails and desserts.

Our cocktail recipe for Bloddy Cassie:

Ingredients:

2 cl Licor 43
4 cl Vodka
4 cl Darbo Black Currant Syrup
8 cl pineapple juice
8 cl orange juice
2 cl lemon juice
Ice cubes
Fresh pineapple or oranges

Preparation:
Mix all ingredients (except the fresh fruit) vigorously in a shaker with a few ice cubes. Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the contents of the shaker through a bar strainer into the glass. Garnish the rim with a piece of pineapple or a slice of orange and serve with a straw.
