Description
The LoVE it! Vegan Gelling Agent by Dr Oetker is an excellent alternative to gelatine and is just as sure to gel. It contains a combination of agar-agar, konjac and locust bean gum and is neutral in flavour.
Tip:
1 sachet of LoVE it! Vegan Gelling Agent is equivalent to 2 - 3 sheets of leaf gelatine.
How to use:
- Take 100 ml cold liquid for every 1 sachet of LoVE it! Gelling agent
- Mix the desired amount of gelling agent and cold liquid in a saucepan.
- Bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Then, while still hot, stir it into the liquid or cream to be thickened.
- Continue immediately as per your recipe. For recipes requiring 10 - 12 sheets of leaf gelatine, you can mix 5 sachets of LoVE it! Vegan Gelling Agent with 500 ml of liquid and bring to the boil.
