Description

Turn fresh vegetables into a creamy, savoury gratin with Organic Broccoli & Potato Gratin Seasoning Mix by Lebensbaum. It adds aromatic herbs and a delicate touch of nutmeg to this oven-baked favourite.

About this product:

  • Aromatic herbs: Classic garden herbs and alliums, including parsley, leek and wild garlic, combine with nutmeg, turmeric and bay leaf.
  • Quick & easy: Turns potatoes, broccoli, cream and feta into a creamy oven-baked dish with little effort.
  • Versatile combinations: Make it with potatoes or try sweet potatoes for a fruitier flavour.

Directions:

  • Peel 400 g potatoes (or sweet potatoes) and cut into thin slices.
  • Add to a pan of boiling water with 300 g broccoli. Parboil for 5 minutes, drain and transfer to an ovenproof dish.
  • Stir the contents of the sachet into 100 g cream and 300 ml water. Pour over the vegetables and crumble 100 g feta on top.
  • Bake in a preheated conventional oven at 180 °C for approx. 30 minutes until golden brown. If you like, sprinkle with flaked almonds before serving.
