Rapunzel Organic Wild Rice - Natural, 200 g

Botanically speaking, wild rice is not related to rice. It is an aquatic wild grass that grows on the banks of lakes and rivers and is harvested from boats. The harvested rice grains are green-brown in colour and have a high water content. The colour changes to brownish-black only after drying at 110 - 120°C.

You can serve wild rice as an accompaniment with various dishes, as a filling with vegetables, in soups or in salads. Rapunzel's wild rice comes from controlled organic production.

Preparation: Simmer 200 g wild rice in 400 ml water for 45 - 50 minutes until the grains burst.
