Description
The long pepper may not be the most famous or well-known pepper, but it does have a very interesting and uniquely spicy flavour with a sweet, yet sharp, slightly earthy taste that goes very well with pasta, salad or game dishes.
The long pepper is only grown in a few regions of Southeast Asia as this plant grows mainly in the wild. This pepper is grown in organic conditions in Indonesia. In this tropical region the now quite rare pepper can naturally thrive and be grown sustainably.
