This pyramid or snowflake salt is created from natural seawater in a complex manufacturing process. The seawater is let into salt basins, where it slowly evaporates, creating a concentrated brine. The brine is heated, causing small salt cubes to form that eventually become pyramid-shaped salt flakes. The salt pyramids are carefully skimmed off the water by hand.

The beautiful salt pyramids should be used as a finishing salt so that they don't lose their crunch and flavour. The salt melts in the mouth, revealing its bold flavours and leaving a salty note behind.
