The Geistreich is Günter Triebaumer's Austrian reply to port wine.

The well-known red wine cuvee Weite Welt is "fortified" with its own brandy after 7 days of fermentation. The fermentation is interrupted which leaves a residual sweetness in the wine and increases the alcohol content to 20.5% by volume

Sweetness combined with fruity acidity - a deep, dark liqueur wine with notes of wild berries, cocoa and dried cherries. A dense, lush, charming powerhouse with a fiery, sweet finish.

Pairs well with cheese and desserts, especially chocolate desserts.
