Each year, immediately after harvest in August, the green pepper comes from a family farm in southern Spain to Berlin. The organic green paprika is grown on a Demeter certified farm, so the quality of the spice is particularly high. The Demeter certification is of course added to the usual organic certification.

Using the organic green pepper powder
In the kitchen you can use like the organic green paprika like the traditional red paprika powder to flavor pasta, soups or omelets. With its mild taste, the pepper is not as dominant as the red paprika, but has a distinctive taste of its own which develops only when cooked properly. The green paprika goes great with fresh cheese.
