Zwergenwiese Organic Streich´s Drauf Basitom Spread, 135 g

The Basitom spread by Zwergenwiese is made with smoothly pureed sunflower seeds, fruity tomatoes and fresh basil. It is a flavourful, delicious spread and dip and also perfect for seasoning or refining sauces, soups and other hearty dishes.

Recipe tip: Surprise your guests at the next brunch with this stunningly delicious breakfast soufflé. You will need:

• 3 eggs
• 80 g (= 1/2 glass) of Basitom Spread
• Optional: vegetable oil or baking spray to coat the baking tins

1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat (do not use convection oven!).
2. Crack open the eggs and separate the whites and yolks.
3. Mix the egg yolk and Basitom spread together well.
4. Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into the yolk and Basitom mixture.
5. Grease the baking tins if necessary and fill them 2/3 full.
   (Note: the number of soufflés depends on the size of the baking cups.)
6. Bake the soufflés for 15 minutes until golden brown. Never open the oven before the end of the baking time to prevent the soufflés from collapsing.
7. Carefully remove from the oven and serve. Enjoy!
