Description
The gluten-free organic brownie baking mix by Bauck Mühle offers all the indulgence of classic chocolate brownies. Made with a recipe based on wholegrain rice flour and maize (corn) instead of wheat, the brownies are still wonderfully moist with an intense chocolate flavour. Fine dark chocolate flakes and low-fat cocoa powder add a sweet, chocolatey aroma to the batter and fill the kitchen with an irresistible aroma as it bakes. A simple, fuss-free baking experience that is rich in flavour and can also be prepared vegan - without milk or eggs.
Preparation with egg:
For 1 springform cake tin (26 cm) or 1 baking dish (approx. 20 cm x 20 cm), 6 large or 12 small brownies.
Additional ingredients: 200 g softened butter, 2 eggs and 100 ml milk
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (top and bottom heat).
- Transfer the contents of the pack to a bowl.
- Add 200 g softened butter and 2 eggs and mix. Then slowly stir in 100 ml of milk.
- Spread the batter in the baking tin and smooth the surface.
- Bake on the middle shelf for approx. 25 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely, then cut into pieces.
Preparation without egg:
Additional ingredients: 150 g softened margarine, 2 level tsp locust bean gum (or 2 level tbsp soy flour) and 100 ml water or soy drink
- Preheat the oven to 175°C, top and bottom heat.
- Melt 150 g (vegan) margarine in a saucepan and add 100 ml cold water or soy drink.
- Place the brownie mix in a bowl and stir in 2 level teaspoons of locust bean gum or 2 level tablespoons of soy flour.
- Add the margarine and water/soy drink and stir to form a smooth batter.
- Spread the batter in the baking tin and smooth the surface.
- Bake on the middle shelf for approx. 25 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely, then cut into pieces.
Preparation in an air fryer:
- Prepare the mixture as described in the instructions above and transfer the batter into 2 glass baking dishes/air fryer baking tins (approx. 1 litre) or 1 large tin (approx. 2.6 litres).
- Select the bake programme at 160°C and bake for approx. 25 minutes.
