Description
Gigantes beans are traditionally served as a cold appetiser. This antipasti speciality by Rapunzel is made using a traditional method where the beans are soaked first and then blanched. In the meantime, sun-ripened tomatoes are seasoned with aromatic spices and olive oil to make a flavourful tomato sauce. The beans are filled into cans and covered with the tomato sauce and sealed. The cans are finally heated and cooled again in order to preserve the contents.
